About the Founder
A Healing Space Rooted in Culture, Identity, and Legacy
I am Clarissa Cannon — Licensed Clinical Social Worker, mother, and founder of OSUN Family Healing Services.
OSUN was not just created from professional training — it was born from lived experience, personal healing, and a deep commitment to restoring the well-being of Black women, girls, and families.
My journey has been one of rebuilding — navigating adversity, identity, emotional healing, and growth — while recognizing that true healing requires more than traditional therapy. It requires culture, connection, and community.
Through both my personal and professional experiences, I saw the gap:
Black women and girls deserve spaces that honor who they are — not just clinically, but culturally, spiritually, and generationally.
That is why I created OSUN.
As a therapist and healer, I integrate:
• Trauma-informed clinical practice
• African-centered and ancestral healing approaches
• Identity development and emotional restoration
• Storytelling, reflection, and community connection
My work focuses on helping individuals and families:
heal emotional wounds, reclaim identity, and break generational cycles.
My intention is simple:
I see you.
I walk with you.
And your healing matters here.
OSUN is more than a practice —
it is a growing community mental health initiative rooted in healing, identity, and legacy.
